WOYWW it must be Wednesday......

It is 5. 27pm  here in Kerrville on July 3 and I am preparing my WOYWW,   http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ ,   entry as tomorrow is a busy day.    this past 3 days were spent making the pages for a swap on  All things Tim called Summer travels.  It is  a 6x6 page swap.  A difficult size for me to work with for many reasons least of all finding cardstock.. The background is finished on all 15 and all that awaits is to add focal point and embellishments.  This is why tomorrow will be busy.....

We are setting off on a trip to Colorado if we can find somewhere fire and smoke free.  Wednesday we will be loading food and clothing.

This will be my work space

This is were supplies are stored, as i can easily reach this cabinet over the drivers head.

We do not have the AC running and it is about 95F today so i stuck the ink stamp pads in the refrigerator that is running but not cool enough for food.

So Stay tuned to life on the road with glue stick and inks

Have a great July4 everyone.

  1. Now THAT's a different work desk! Looks like you've got your crafting sorted - what a great idea to put your inks in the fridge! Looking forward to seeing your All Things Tim swap pages.

    Have a great time away.

  4. Hi Monica, got to agree with you that 6x6 can be an awkward size to work with, especially after working with 12x12. Love the look of your campervan though I can see it is going to be a tight squeeze crafting in the very limited space, a challenge but not one you can't overcome. It would be something if it got so hot here that I had to put my inkpads in the fridge ... wonder what the EM would have to say about that :)) Have a wonderful trip, travel safely and I look forward to reading all about it here. 7. I love your space!!! What an amazing vehicle! We have a touring caravan which we use for our holidays and I have just called my hubby in to see your vehicle and he is very impressed. You sound so much fun - red wine and chocolate and camper van!!! I love it. I am going to follow you now because I have to find out about your travels in that great camper. Best wishes from rainy Durham in England. jenx

  10. Ahhhhh, a girl after my own heart...I love going up to the RV...
We are not as brave as you....we don't drive ours...we had it delivered and here it sits.

We do different day trips out by car or boat and sightsee that way.

Luckily I never have to pack mine other than once in the spring to load up the basic staples. After that we just shop here in town unless I get some amazing bargain
    when we are at home.

Hope you have lots of fun on your trip...the rain finally stopped and we have 5 days of heat now.

I hope to post some cards tonight or tomorrow! I have finally been creating!

    Happy travels.

  11. Have a wonderful trip Monica, that looks like it will be a lot of fun. I think while it's so hot in Michigan my desk will stay tidy as it's too hot in there right now!! Although it's not so hot that I have my inks in the fridge!!

  12. Do you live in Kerrville? It's one of the places that I'd love to go. Also, have fun in Colorado. I don't think there are any fires around Estes Park, which is beautiful.

That little camper looks like so much fun! I need one of those.

Thanks for visiting me already. I was out celebrating Independence Day yesterday.

    Hugs,

  13. LOL! loved your "workdesk". Sounds like fun. I've not traveled anywhere since I started crafting...not sure if I could! Never thought about putting ink pads in the frig. Good idea. Hope you have a great time. Valerie #142
