Art for Art

Tim Holtz made a tag for the month of September using foil.  My attempts were not too successful as I used kitchen foil.

When browsing Anita Houston's web, i saw for Father's Day she made a card using foil and corrugated cardboard, it inspired me to attempt a male card.

Mine was a birthday card, again using kitchen foil and re-purposed cardboard  paper along with embellishments from NASCAR.  Anita's card uses commercial papers and is far more sophisticated.  It was an excellent "go by" and my start at trying to get a fix on layout and design using tags.

The hardware on the tag are pieces we picked up on a walk around the track in Bristol several years ago. the tequila bottle is a bought charm and the sax a button.

here it is with the envelope sprayed with Dylusions

  1. Well your tag might not have used commercial products - but I think it is all the better for it. Superb tag, love the 'found' elements too.
