On my desk, my No Excuses Journal, Decided to go for vignettes and try to improve them. Here is journal 52. The prompt on the left was Thinking of You. I could not think of anyone I wanted to say this to or who needed support so i just played around. On the right the prompt was "made with napkins". No ideas jumped in my head. I wanted to use the cat napkin my neighbor brought back from Paris. a couple of years ago and i kept taking out, loosing and then worried I would loose it. SO I used it.
An on line English friend Joann at the Fiddlenips Blog said on FB that she was going to do The Documented Life Project 2015. I decided to check it out as I had always thought it some evangelical site and knew that could not be correct if Joanne was interested in it. Liking what i saw for 2015 i signed up and felt I would combine it with a current Journal project. They will use the Dylusions Journal with tip ins.
I must apologize to all you great people who comment on my posts for not responding to questions. I do not have a reply button. I will search to try and correct that as it must be in settings.

This is my desk Tuesday evening.
It is 51 F, (10.55C )and for us that is cold. But my desk was the scene of only a few minutes of action today unless you include the time spent getting rid of Spyware.
here is the real scene of today's action and really quite a craft.
I am using my new Cuisinart (not shown)to cook up all manner of previous ignored goodies, including pastry, a disaster. I have now made it too flaky, mind you it did taste good, and the next batch too tough it tastes awful. Fortunately Chris liked them both. To him a pie is a pie is a pie. It did not take deep analysis to figure out the problem and the remedy ......practice. Anyway, today i went on a cooking orgy. Started with butternut squash soup. kinda boring and (under the cloth) is French bread. Who knows, by the time i link up it my have risen. Also made some chicken stock. So winter I have you covered.
The poppies around the tower are truly one of the greatest memorials ever. in many ways the impact of WW1 was to effect my life, several decades later. A little of these events is recorded in prompt 6 in the page I made for Journal 52
Have a great week. I do have go and play chef. Heated up meat loaf and a fien sauce with zuccini, crusty French bread? Maybe and if fails a good bottle of wine or whine!

iWhat a fast week. And I have spent more time with cats than crafts. We are going to Galveston for Thanksgiving so I am trying to train cats on a leash. Ms Kitty has gone out twice wearing it. She does not like the harness but at least I can get it on her. We bought Xochitl a special harness call a Kitty Harness and it arrived yesterday. We are in the early stage of sniffing it an chewing on it. It will not be easy as she was wild when I tried the other one on her. She has to have it on in the house and learn to love it(the makers words).
Not much on my desk as the kittens love to help. This is my Draw Your Awesome Year Journal a project with Joanne Sharpe. Joanne has an easy laid back style. So it is fun.
The other desk is what I call straightened only the stuff I do not know how to organize is left . Oh what the heck it is a mess. That bag is decades old it was a Clovis Ruffin piece. Have to look up who she was/is.
The journal was made on Sunday finished Monday. Today was Deane Day, it's when I go to Boerne to me my friend DeNis at her studio. We used to create together now we talk. She makes clothes for herself, mostly jackets and vests that she embroiders with whimiscal figures and beads.
So that's it for tonight. Cats want feeding and so does DH. Today it was over cast and supposed to rIn, so far nothing but a few seconds of drizzle and mist coming across the valley from the west.
Have a great week. Written Tuesday for posting Wednesday cst .......it remains 72F (22.22 C)
