Happy New Year. May your desk reflect ypr life and be full of all you joys and pleasures.This is short as I am busy making dinner. Trying to find my spirit. I can make stuff but not pleasing. So today got into it. My desk, my journal ready to fix the cover to make it feel like me, a mess!!!! The phone book to the left is where ai gglue. The baby wipes are for spreading paint and cleaning up paint. Much better than bottoms. It is rainy over cast and like UK. Tomorrow get my nails done and try to halt their current crumbling condition with a shell cover. I have reached the stage in life where I need little notes to remind me what I need to do in the morning when I get up.The walkies is on hold due to weather . Ms Kitty is the champion. Xochitl is still trying for entertainer of the year as she leaps and rolls over . Bit she loves it. Currently occupying garage as it is cold in there. 290 WOYWW Happy Christmas 2014

Happy Holidays and a very merry to one and all. we are home with kittens and with their level of activity no decorations. In fact decorating stopped many many years ago when we went away and I loaned out the tree decorations and they were never returned. Out to dinner with friend tonight and tomorrow and Christmas Dinner with just the 4 ( ms Kitty wants the expensive gooey cat food and Xochitl wants to go outside on her own, no harness.) Christmas day we will have a lovely log fire in the grate and an abundance of food and drink. This year the stores had very few English Christmas goodies so the new tradition will be cup cakes from a local bakery, the topping is real buttercream and they are minatures, the perfect size. Quite a party year so far. Have managed to keep up with 3 journals and even some cards. My problem is a lack of inspiration. So this year will work on The Documented Life Journal project only.

WOYWW 288 Where was I?

Here I am and sorry to have missed all the fun.  We had a busy three weeks leaving for Galveston On Tuesday Nov 25 with cats in the RV.  and only returning Dec 1.  loading and unloading the RV is quite a task and with the cats included more stuff.  They were overall well behaved and were not upset.  Like most cats road travel is not something they relish but they are with us and  it is better than neighbor coming in to feed or other alternatives.  Miss Kitty likes to lay on the edge of the passenger window and unlocks the door.  She also hit the window button and almost flew out.


  When we we parked they were on search and destroy, the latter a function of search. (leap on back of leather seat....enter nails, test curtains for strength of cat body) The trip was fabulous and as we had not visited Galveston since the 2008 hurricane, it was a wonderful surprise.  They have rebuilt and turned it from a run down shabby seaside town with high crime to a lovely place to visit.  We feasted on …
